The 2026 Mukono Boda Boda Championship reached its climax on 23rd October 2026, when its finals were played. Standing behind the occasion was FHNS Group, whose bright yellow FHNS Sports Medicine tent was set up at the grounds, and whose message afterwards was one of thanks, and of more to come.
Thank you, boda boda family
On behalf of FHNS, the group thanked the Uganda Boda Boda Union and the Mukono District Boda Boda leadership for working with FHNS in supporting the championship. It also recognised the proactiveness of the Chairman of the Uganda Boda Bodas Union, Mr. Mawejje, and of the Mukono leadership in bringing the tournament to a successful conclusion.
Rewards for the stars of the tournament
The celebration is not over for the players. FHNS Group will work with the Mukono boda boda leadership and local political leaders to award, separately, the athletes who performed well during the tournament, in addition to the rewards received on the day.
- Top scorers. The players who found the net most often.
- Best goalkeepers. The last line of defence, recognised for their saves.
- Most Valuable Player. The standout performer of the championship.
FHNS will passionately support all African sports stakeholders for holistic African sports development, effective social engagement and positive transformation in the next 30 to 40 years.
Sport, health and unity
The words match the work seen on the day. The FHNS tent, with its banners carrying the message Transforming African Sports Health, brought sports medicine to the touchline, and the group describes its support for sports stakeholders as a way to build unity and social development across Africa.
